Tableau Developer Responsibilities:

Work closely with Master Data Management (MDM) programmers to ensure data sources are accurate, available, and analyzable.
Hands on with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management).
Create and edit SQL queries within Tableau to build calculated fields.
Create interactive filters, parameters, and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.
Build and publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Server. Collaborate with MDM programmers and QA analysts to test, clean, and standardized data to meet the business requirements.
Have the confidence to work cross-functionally with various departments including business stakeholders and technical personnel to exchange ideas.
Must have excellent verbal communications skills and documentation skills to maintain work flows and dashboard functionality.

Tableau Developer Requirements:

At least 5+ of experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards using Tableau.
At least five years of experience using Tableau v9.x.
At least five years in UI,

UX

space (can be concurrent or overlap with Tableau experience) demonstrable with evidence of using a combination of user interface tools such as wire frames, prototypes, mock-ups, or white boarding to illustrate product usability.
Empirical understanding of data systems (BI analytics, data blending, data warehousing, data ETL, etc.) on process automation and standardization.
Experience working on a support team environment by documenting, researching, solving problems via phone calls or email ticketing system.

Note: Experience with healthcare industry is an added advantage.

Positions within Citi’s Global Consumer Risk Management Modeling Utility for data, technology management, technology compliance, and programming support for U.S. and international portfolios.

Core Responsibilities:

Technical point of contact for user community of analytic platforms hosted on 3rd party environments. Responsibilities will include reporting & tracking technical issues, coordinating outages, and programming support as needed
Support testing and acquisition of new software tools. Maintain software license inventory and liaise with software vendors for version upgrades and technical issues.
Develop and maintain standardized model characteristic code libraries in Python or SAS coding language
Technology Compliance management and assurance, including Risk/Control tracing across model lifecycle and business units
Develop and maintain internal service provider agreement and cross border data clearance inventory.
Ensure timely completion of governance controls
Work closely with cross functional teams, including country/region’s business stakeholders, model development, model governance, model implementation, compliance, and technology teams

Qualifications:

7+ YEARS programming experience
Intermediate programming skills in Python, with at least 3 years on-the-job experience
Understanding of Big Data Platforms is a plus
Strong communication skills to present technical information verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to influence others in technical matters.
Expected to manage own projects independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams
Able to work on multiple & concurrent projects

Technical Skills:

SAS coding language experience is a plus.
R programming experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills to present technical information verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences. Must have ability to break down information in a systematic and communicable manner, along with ability to influence others in technical matters.
Must be attentive to detail, as well as have strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills.
Understanding of model development processes (regression, time series, decision tree, linear/nonlinear optimization etc.) is a plus.
Ability to collaborate with colleagues in multiple time zones and be a strong team player.
Able to work on multiple & concurrent projects.
Sharepoint Designer, Java, SQL, or Teradata experiences are a plus.
Big Data, Hadoop, or machine learning tool knowledge is a plus

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or comparable technical field.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Utilizing the Agile methodology, use your strong technical expertise to implement new software and features.
Design, develop and implement key applications and features for engine and machine product development.
Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently.
Work directly on complex application technical problem identification and resolution
Collaborate with peer organizations across the enterprise to help our team meet deliverables.
Participate in project initiation meetings, understand the scope and share estimation on project completion date

Skills Requirements:

Strong experience working with Python, Django, Flask and Client server technology-based applications.

Databases – Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, Snowflake (Preferable AWS RDS and Snowflake)
Developing RESTful services with flask, Gunicorn and nginx combination
Strong grasp of modern software development concepts such as OOPS, LEAN principals
Strong architecture, design, coding, testing, and debugging skills
Agile/SCRUM software development process/Scrum master experience is a plus
Experience in Image processing and OCR projects and experience in JavaScript/ TypeScript will be an added advantage

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree (or equivalent) in CSE/IT from a recognized Engineering College.
Must have ability to communicate effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well as customers and suppliers
Minimum 5-7 Years of relevant experience in C# Development

Desired Qualifications:

Proficiency in HTML5, Bootstrap, Angular JS
Prior Work Experience in Azure DevOps, Aws, Lambda, S3, SharePoint
Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers from different geographical locations
