The PLM Analyst will support the Ingersoll Rand Enterprise PLM program and associated projects. The goal of the Enterprise PLM is to deploy Windchill globally with technology and tools that will deliver profitable growth, at greater than market rates, across the company. Key responsibilities will include supporting strategic vision and direction around technologies that enable Engineering, Manufacturing and other functions such as Supply Management etc. This role will contribute, support and participate in the ongoing definition, development and implementation of best practices for deployment and maintenance of various modules of PTC’s Windchill along with other engineering applications such as InService, ArborText and IsoDraw/Illustrate. The successful candidate will work closely with the Enterprise PLM team, champions in each SBU and other IT delivery teams to deliver sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities:

Support the strategy and vision of Enterprise PLM team on solution design, development and configuration
Collaborate with business functions and other IT teams on the definition, planning, modeling, governance, and implementation of PLM capabilities
Help with requirements gathering with business customer for Windchill Implementation projects
Contribute and provide technical guidance to development teams on application development and integrations with upstream (CAD) and downstream (ERPs) systems & applications
Ensure ownership and accountability to effectively resolve gaps to completion
Lead and support initiatives to minimize support cost and accelerate the delivery of value-added functionality
Work proactively to remove technical debt and security vulnerabilities
Assess new tools and software, perform POCs, and offer recommendations to optimize the Enterprise PLM ecosystem
Responsible for designing & developing scalable, reusable and robust solution frameworks
Demonstrate technical leadership by guiding the team in critical/challenging technical issues

Education / Experience/ Skills:

BS in Computer Science or related technical field
6+ years of Windchill implementation/customization experience
Certifications in JAVA/J2EE is preferred
Certified with Windchill skills is preferred
Solid proven background across all phases of a Solution Delivery
Should have strong understanding of Windchill system architecture and Implementation experience
Good understanding of Industrial manufacturing development business processes
Detailed exposure to PTC PLM product future roadmap

Development

Key Technical skills and experience required.

MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent experience, with a preference on experience and proven track record. An ideal candidate would have an impressive hands-on work history in an advanced, recognized, and innovative environment.
Data engineering experience and seasoned coder in the relevant languages: Python, SQL, Scala, etc.
7-10 years in Data Platform experience- specific to owning and enabling capabilities within an enterprise data ecosystem, including Data Management practices (Analytics/Platform)
5+ years experience with the Azure data and analytics stack: Databricks, Data Factory, SQL DW, Cosmos DB, Power BI, Power Apps, AKS, etc.
5+ years of experience integrating and supporting various enterprise data tools, Talend, Collibra, Synapse/Snowflake, etc.
Fully conversant with big-data processing approaches and “schema-on-read” methodologies. Preference for a deep understanding of Spark, Databricks, and Delta Lake and applying them to solve data science and machine learning business problems.
Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and tools: SAFe, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.
Experience with visualization tools and their application: developing reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
Familiar deploying enterprise analytics solutions at scale with applicable services: administration, qualification and user access provisioning.

POSITION SUMMARY:

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Participate in brainstorming sessions with product engineers (PE)/developers (DE) and help in optimum solution formation.
Maintain Product Content and Data in FAEP Applications for Pumps/Seals.
Takes ownership of customer concerns, provides a timely response and delivers high quality solutions for engineering systems and tools.
Help developers during system development by preparing and providing test cases, flowcharts, Data Flow Diagram, Requirement documents, data etc.
Prepare Statement of Work, Functional Requirement Document etc. against a Change Requests / Enhancements / Bugs.
Monitor Product related issues reported in issue tracker and ensure these are resolved appropriately.
Support periodical releases, Emergency Bug fixes and Co-ordinate with developers and support team.
Coordinate with development consultants and make available the information required by them on-time.
Document Product Data, Rules and Pricing and validate with Product Managers/Subject Matter Expert and maintain the records as per defined standards.
Prepare test cases/scenarios and Test Changes in Stage/Test environment before Release to Production.
Participate in code review sessions with DE lead to confirm that the approved logic has been implemented properly by DE.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
