Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect raw data from various platforms and sources, including customer databases, marketing campaigns, web analytics, and social media platforms.
- Clean, transform, and manipulate data using Excel and SQL to prepare it for analysis.
- Develop and maintain databases using SQL and Excel to ensure accurate and up-to-date data for analysis.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Create charts, graphs, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other team members, including data scientists and business analysts, to integrate data and insights into broader business strategies.
- Continuously improve data collection and analysis processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure that analysis is based on the latest best practices and techniques.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience with SQL and Excel for data collection, cleaning, and analysis.
- Proven ability to maintain and manage databases with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- A passion for working with data and using insights to drive business decisions.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms is a plus.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
