Job Detail:

**This position will be a hybrid work schedule (meaning 3 days in the office at our Houston Corporate office and two days work from home) after the new year in 2023. It is currently an on-site position at our Houston Corporate office.**

We are seeking a high-energy, professional, and results-oriented Operations Reporting Analyst to join our team. The position will be based in the West Houston, TX 77079 area.

**This position will be a hybrid work schedule (meaning 3 days in the office at our Houston Corporate office and two days work from home)**

The Operations Reporting Analyst will help with planning, budgeting, forecasting, operation analysis, purchasing analysis and reporting as well as other corporate finance workstreams. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Financial Operations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • • Provide reports, processes, and Excel VBA applications through the application life cycle
  • Collaborate with business users
  • Develop and manage BI solutions
  • Analyze business processes and requirements
  • Handle reporting and procedures as part of the internal operations
  • Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design, and user manuals
  • Create reports for the field operations team
  • Analyze and report for the purchasing team.
  • Work with the operations team to understand potential impacts to continuity of reporting & analytics
  • Prepare Ad Hoc reports as requested
  • Handle creation and maintenance of monthly reports for management/operatins
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions
  • Identify development needs to improve and streamline operations.

YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Finance or similar field preferred
  • Understanding of company operations, freight, and purchasing
  • Ability to work with multiple locations and individuals
  • SQL Server skills including SQL objects development, performance tuning, data analysis, and integration
  • Knowledge in Technology such as VBA, SharePoint, Power BI, SQL (database to server level)
  • Working knowledge of financial operations for a business
  • Ability to read code and support applications, reports, and processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Ability to create reports in Excel to include detailed formulas and pivot tables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
  • Collaborative team player with ability to positively problem solve with others on the management team.
