Job Detail:
TFC Consulting is a growth-oriented, federal consulting firm actively seeking individuals experienced in Internal Controls over Financial Reporting, and Federal Financial Statement Accounting and Auditing.

Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
- Conduct or lead internal control assessments in accordance with OMB Circular A-123.
- Participate in walk-throughs to understand business business processes and complete risk assessments.
- Develop recommendations to remediate audit findings.
- Assess and update process narratives, key control descriptions, and test plans based on walkthroughs performed.
- Compile and analyze data using Microsoft office or other data analytic tools.
- Review, document and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to improve business processes.
- Assist with Enterprise Risk management activities.
- Conduct a Fraud Analysis in compliance with the Fraud Reduction and Data Analytics Act.
- Prepare and report on Federal financial reports in accordance with OMB Circular A-136.
- Successfully work independently or with a team to ensure high-quality work and timely deliverables.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, analytic and problem-solving skills.
Required skills and qualifications:
- US Citizen
- Ability to obtain US Federal government security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting or related field
- Relevant experience in internal controls, accounting, auditing, or other areas of Federal financial management (Junior 1-3 Years, Mid-Level 3-5 Years, Senior 5+)
- Have one or more professional certifications: CPA, CGFM, CIA, PMP (Preferred)
