BUSINESS ANALYST II/ SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR – INFORMATICS
SUMMARY:
The Business Analyst II/System Administrator position is a vital role within the Informatics department, responsible for supporting a key enterprise platform. This role will collaborate with internal business teams to ideate, develop, and deliver strategic solutions. A successful candidate will have the combination of business acumen, project management, product management, and technical expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- System Oversight of the Veeva Vault application.
- Primary contact for escalated support issues
- Work hand in hand with various business areas to implement lifecycles, workflows, objects, etc. that are supportable and that meet business requirements
- Help various business areas define and manage requirements and implement them internally or with managed services
- Champion configuration change requests on lifecycles, workflows, security settings, objects, document types/subtypes, etc.
- Work with the vendor for any major issues/bugs in the application
- Coordinate with the vendor for Veeva product releases
- Oversee external vendors and contracts relating to system configuration, integration, and deployment
- Work with the business to adopt new functionality delivered in Veeva product releases
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in supporting Veeva Vault application
- Prefer candidates who are certified in Veeva Vault Administration
- Experience in Veeva Vault RIM, Quality or QMS is an advantage
- 5+ years of experience working with or for life sciences companies; including, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Healthcare, and Medical Device and Diagnostics organizations
- Experience implementing content and/or data management systems with the ability to comprehend and translate business requirements and create corresponding solutions designs
- Demonstrated work history in stakeholder management, critical thinking skills, ability to conduct complex and technical communications in a wide variety of settings and audiences, and the determination to see client success with solution implementation
- Life Science, computer science, bio chemical and mechanical engineers or equivalent experience
- Proactive problem solving skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to multi-task in a busy business environment
- Well organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to adapt to shifting priorities
- Highly accountable and self-motivated
- Constant drive for improvement
