The primary focus of the HRIS Operations Analyst and Project Specialist is the support and maintenance of Human Resource Management Systems. This position serves as a point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, project management and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Overview
- Maintains a systems orientation and works effectively with team to set priorities and conduct long-term planning
- Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades.
- Maintains awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
- Supports day-to-day system operations, reporting and data entry
- Provides HRIS support to all Human Resources teams members
- Updates and Maintains HR System and operations information on The Hub, to ensure a great user experience
Projects/Process Improvement
- Builds project plans, ensuring adherence to project schedules
- Manages projects and process improvement
- Uses limited project management skills in managing projects.
- Documents process changes.
- Gathers and analyzes information on equipment and software utilization; recommends solutions and opportunities for improvements.
- Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or variations from established policies that improve efficiencies and/or effectiveness.
- Maintains awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
- Assists in planning, developing and implementing business solutions.
- May develop business solutions of limited scope and complexity from well-defined requirements. May work as part of a team on specific components of a larger project.
Reporting
- Writes, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing various reporting tools.
- Assists in development of complex standard reports to meet customer needs.
- Runs reports for a variety of purposes.
- Coordinates the scheduling of reports.
- Interprets specifications to develop reports. May write specifications for reports.
- Writes report documentation.
Data Analysis
- Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
- Serves as a point-of-contact and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
Training
- Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques
- Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
- Trains clients on new processes/functionality.
- Trains new system users
- Creates and updates tip sheets for BMCHS and BMCHP
OTHER DUTIES:
- Performs related duties as needed.
- Delivers an intuitive, positive, and scalable user experience
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree
EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 2 years HCM experience and project coordination
