Job Summary
Experience: 5-8 Yrs
Experience as Data Analyst with Insurance experience.
Responsible for the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments
Creation of Dashboards, Analytical Reports including Business Reports such as Premium Statements, Commissions Statements, Reconciliation. Reports based on Department, LoB, Period, Business Unit etc.
Defining business requirements, Epics/ User Stories and playback to stakeholders
Defining Functional Test Scenarios & Test Cases
Conducting Functional Testing
Understanding Stakeholder requirements and converting to technical requirements for developers
Designing requirements according to database principles, including Master, Reference, and Transactional datasets
Database reviews for data quality and field to field mapping specifications
Insurance domain knowledge and experience in insurance domain, preferably Brokerage, including New Business, Placement, Policy Servicing, Billing and Claims Managements
Strong querying skills, including power BI, Excel, and other database and transactional dataset types
Experience of working on projects in the area of Reporting & Analytics
Experience of working on any Reporting Tools such as Power BI, Tableau etc.
Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel and PowerPoint
Worked in any Finance Integrated software application
Basic MS SQL knowledge is preferable
Experience of working in Agile projects
Business Analysis with at least 5 Years of Reporting & Analytics in Insurance Functions such as Policy, Billing, Accounting, Commission Reconciliation etc.
