Description
The Credit Card Business Systems Analyst is a highly detailed oriented technical professional providing support to multiple credit card initiatives across two platforms and numerous business lines. This role will incorporate a strong consultative approach to deliver cost effective, efficient solutions in response to business requirements encompassing implementations to the credit card processing system, related applications and the affiliated process work for Credit Card Operations. Through engagement with business lines, vendors and Production Support, you will develop and deliver holistic project solutions aligned with the business strategy for acquisition and technological improvements enhancing the customer experience for Citizens Bank. Your experience will allow you to grow in your knowledge of payment systems and you will be considered a subject matter expert for Credit Card applications and components of the processing system.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Working with other technical Credit Card Business Systems Analysts in a team to formulate and document solutions, technical flows and track progress on initiatives, ensuring cohesive solutions
- Working with various technical and business resources across the bank to explore and potentially implement or integration Consumer or Commercial processing system data into core bank systems, providing a more seamless customer experience while supporting bank products; may include implementing regulatory changes, new software platforms or new business practices
- Participating in the creation of test strategies and plans related to the implementation of application enhancements, upgrades, new products or any other initiatives.
- Providing technical support for complex system applications and expert advice to business lines
- Collecting, reviewing and analyzing system related changes to ensure compliance with department SLAs, policies, procedures, and/or regulatory and risk requirements
- Working with the management team and peers to define the needs and objectives which will further assist in automating functions and streamlining operations while continually improving the customer experience.
- Other duties may include TS2 Consumer and TS2 Commercial system administration functions, monitoring and reporting on the utilization of enhancements participating on TS2/TSYS user committees and user groups as appropriate, coordinating operational run rate, project estimates and managing smaller initiatives.
- This position requires the ability to make well informed business decisions while working independently and in group settings. The ability to communicate with multiple levels of end users and management in an appropriate manner is essential.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in Credit Card technology preferred
- Basic understanding of project management techniques and methodologies with a focus on Agile related practices
- Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver impactful concise messages to management, vendors, and business lines
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task.
- Competent MS Excel, Access, Word, Visio and PowerPoint experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Quantitative & qualitative reasoning skills.
- Ability to travel.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of the TSYS TS2 Consumer and Commercial processing systems
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business systems analysis experience

Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
