Data Analyst / Senior Data Analyst – Portfolio Visualisation and Insights (Capital Markets Risk)

Experience
3+ years of experience in preparing dashboards using QlikSense, with good understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/Big data environments and credit risk data/metrics in the banking space
Job Duties
- The role entails creating interactive dashboards using QlikSense to visually represent and review key risk metrics and performance drivers for the underlying portfolio of banking products
- Extracting data from various sources like Hive, SAS, Big Query, Flat files and MS Excel
- Developing and deploying Nprinting solutions in MS Excel, Powerpoint, etc. in the required format and providing the Nprinting solutions for the dashboards as required by Business teams
- Generating MIS, business insights and highlighting portfolio hotspots by deploying available data and applying visualisation & statistical tools/techniques
- Regular interaction with the client to discuss data sourcing and analytics, visualisation dashboards as well as workflow
- Engage with client teams proactively and suggest new ideas to enhance client engagement and drive process efficiency
- Other activities may include conducting technical trainings (for use of dashboards), and liaising with business/delivery teams across various geographic locations to ensure timely capture and presentation of data
Academic Qualification
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech); Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology (ME/MTech)
Skills And Traits Required
The following traits are mandatory:
- Good working knowledge and delivery experience preferably within a Banking and Data Risk systems environment
- Knowledge on Data Visualization tools – Qliksense (expert level) is mandatory. UX/UI certification or experience is also preferred
- Knowledge of MS Excel (Advanced or Intermediate), Nprinting solutions is a must
- Knowledge of Hive and Big Query is preferred
- Good understanding of GCP/Big data environments is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong process orientation and time management skills
- Good problem solving and analytical abilities, with the ability to communicate analytical thoughts in a crisp, concise and precise manner
- Strong inter-personal skills and ability to participate/contribute as a team player
- Prior experience in Data Analysis, Data Visualisation, and Client Management is required
