PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Under the general leadership of the Mgr, Accounting Portfolio, provides guidance and recommendations to member cooperatives in maximizing the benefits of the IMS suite of software for marketing, financial and general business management purposes based on a thorough understanding of the software’s capability.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assist on implementations for Agvance Core conversions. Responsible to assist on all aspects of onboarding companies up to and including the on-site facilitation throughout the first months of go-live.

Assist the Project Manager in merging information management systems between member cooperatives and other business entities. Server as project manager for other Accounting Portfolio projects.

Assists in developing and gathering business function requirements related to myGROWMARK. Serves as liaison with Agronomy & Energy Divisions to maximize the integration of information systems and technology for member cooperatives.

Manages the Agri-finance process within Agvance. Work with Member resources, FS Members and 3rd party financing companies on their needs and then works with SSI for a solution within Agvance.

Assists Application Managers in the implementation of IMS-supported software including but not limited to:

• Conversions from other systems to Agvance and Integration of data from users’ legacy software

• Updates for new versions of software

• Agvance setup related to new Agronomy or Energy locations.

Works with IT application support on resolving second level support issues. Also works with the Manager of IT application support to provide additional training to members of the IT Application support team.

Consults with potential users on-site to determine their specific business needs and utilizes thorough, detailed technical and functional knowledge of all IMS supported technologies [wEBS, FBS (Fuel Billing Solution), RBS (Retail Business Solution), Retail Fuel, Web Services, Grain, Agvance, kwiktag, Retail Fuel and integration with Agvance to determine the specific software applications, modifications, customizations, and enhancements necessary to meet those needs.

Consult with the FS Optics team to provide guidance on reporting needs for both internal and external customers.

Responsible for the coordination of resources necessary to train current and new users of IMS supported software, including Implementation, Refresher/Advanced Staff Training and Business Process Consultation.

Responsible for providing end-users with access to needed management information from IMS supported applications.

Assists in developing new information management processes and strategies that result in greater GROWMARK system integration related to customer data at member cooperatives.

Assists in administrative functions for IMS including customer billing, inventory management and IMS financial statement analysis.

Acts as the backup for both the Analyst, Application and Mgr,-Projects.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Assists in the evaluation of new software and services to be offered to end users.

Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a college degree in information systems, accounting, business or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of related experience to demonstrate the ability to provide IMS supported software implementation leadership to the GROWMARK System.

Understanding and experience with computer services-related areas including computer and software implementation, systems trends, integration, technical support and training and resource management.

Proven leadership skills and the ability to achieve results through others.

Proven planning, organization, analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving and project management skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical material.

Understanding and experience in accounting and agri-business.

Proven professional communication, interpersonal, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.

Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in team-oriented environment.

Proven computer skills and the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes.

Demonstrated GROWMARK core competencies including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and able to travel independently and overnight as necessary.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
