Primary Puspose:
The primary responsibilities include data management, analysis, and reporting of business information in support of the Transportation network mission and objectives. The analyst will fulfill standard and ad hoc network analyses /reporting requests and will work to develop and expand reporting capability for key metrics by integrating sales order and transportation data with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Performs data extractions, data comparisons and relationships via use of SAP, BW, MRP and all Microsoft products.

Building and running queries for routine and specialized reports; fulfilling the role of expert resource for Transportation network system applications throughout the US and Canada

Facilitate crossfunctional teams and projects to drive solutions in the logistics area and across the network

Working cross functionally with other supply chain business units and supporting teams to provide a resource for verifying key performance data and reports, identifying trends, identifying leading indicators and making recommendations to optimize network efficiency.

Monitoring and maintaining data within SAP, compilation of database deliverables, error resolution, and maintenance of data tables to comply with business rules.

Providing technical support and training as a resource for relevant system applications.

Managing relationship with freight payment 3rd party and ensuring freight payment occurs

Education and Experince :
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, Business Admin, Statistics, Distribution, Accounting or related field required

5 years progressive business experience in area(s) such as Materials Management, Distribution, or Supply Chain.

Applicants must have experience designing and maintaining large datasets using MS Excel and have experience using one of the following database engines: MS SQL, Access, Oracle, SAP DB2 or MSDE.

Experience integrating data between multiple systems and including SAP and desktop applications is essential.

CPM or APICS certification

Current McCormick employees who meet these qualifications and are interested in pursuing this position must notify their direct supervisor and their unit HR representative prior to applying.
