Job Detail:
Role Objective :
A DevOps Engineer works with developers and the IT staff to oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones, a DevOps Engineer engineering and coding increases productivity in the workplace.
Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Tier 1) needed
Responsibilities :
– Collaborate with teams to build and deliver solutions implementing serverless, microservice based, IaaS, PaaS, and containerized architectures in AWS Cloud environments.
– Develop reusable and parameterized IaC templates for the automated deployment of AWS resources using Terraform andor CloudFormation.
– Build CICD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline.
– Integrate 3rd party tools with CICD processes (e.g. SonarQube).
– Config manage environments using industry standard DevOps tools (e,g, Ansible)
– Implement scripting to extend builddeploymentmonitoring processes (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python)
– Work with Windows and Linux based systems.
– Install, configure, and manage tools within AWS cloud environment.
Required Skills :
– 3+ years of experience working with AWS Cloud environment in a DevOps or Engineering role.
– Good understanding of DevOps tools and concepts.
– Ability to develop IaC with Terraform required.
– Ability to develop IaC with CloudFormation desired.
– Ability to develop CICD pipelines with AWS cloud native toolset (e.g. CodePipeline).
– Solid experience with Powershell, Bash, andor Python.
– Strong understanding of Cloud Networking, NSGs, VPCs, DNS, Routing.
– Experience implementing Cloud Security best practices in AWS.
– Understanding of Linux and Windows Operating Systems including endpoint protection
– Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting system and application issues
Desired Candidate Profile :
– Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, S3, EC2, CloudFront. SQS. Redshift, DynamoDB, Kinesis.
– Understanding of NetworkFirewall architecture and concepts desired.
– Knowledge of EKS desired
– Familiarity with AWS IAM concepts and common authentication methods
