The Aeronautics Systems – Strike Business Management team is looking for an energetic, highly seasoned business analyst to support discretionary investments. The Strike Business Management Team directly supports the Strike Programs within the Strike Division in Melbourne, FL

Essential Functions:

  • Successful execution of NCTA and Capital financial performance, including tracking & management of internal funding, cost performance, and schedule management.
  • Manage capital planning activities for long-term strategic objectives ensuring capital requirements and risks are identified early in the planning process.
  • Coordinates the preparation of operating budgets and leads investment review sessions with programs to discuss budgets; actuals; forecasting; and meeting execution milestones.
  • Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools (as required).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with 13 years’ experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 15 years’ proven experience in business, finance, accounting, program control and/or similar industry related fields
  • Experience with NCTA and Capital Planning and Execution
  • Demonstrated experience with project management, data analysis and program implementation to include project plan creation and tracking.
  • Advanced excel skills to support the development of complex tools and reports for analysis and deep dives
  • Must have at a minimum an Active Secret DOD clearance with full investigation within last 5 years and ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing and reviewing financial estimates at complete
  • Experience in Earned Value Management and working with external customer reports (IMPR/IPMDAR, Contracts funds status reports, and other cost/financial customer deliverables)
  • Experience with budget, rates, and overhead management
  • Detailed orientated with ability to spot financial trends and anomalies
  • Ability to perform under minimal direct guidance and achieve job objectives with significant degree of independence
  • Excellent written and communication, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills
  • Experience in SAP

Salary Range: $111,400 USD – $167,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
