Job Description
The NYT seeks Director, Data Scientist (NY, NY) to lead a team of data scientists developing and deploying Machine Learning algorithms for content recommendation, powering multiple product surfaces of NYT. Masters in a quantitative field and 4 years of applied Machine Learning experience (industry or post-bachelor/academia). Must have 4 years of experience with Python or another scientific programming language. Must have experience with supervised machine learning and at least one of the following: Natural Language Processing, Causal Inference, or Reinforcement Learning. The annual base pay range for this role is between $172,000.00 and $203,000.00.
