    Overview of the Role

    In short, this role is about, owning all things data and analytics about the Convosight product.

    This is what you will be up to

    • Own timely reporting, analysis and insights for all product usage metrics to understand which features are being used, how much, and identify opportunities to grow.
    • Working with the product team to craft the right product usage funnels and loops and give them insights about drop-offs in these user journeys.
    • Own tracking and reporting of the impact of product/feature launches and product marketing campaigns on overall product usage.
    • Own analytical problem-solving and deep dives with Product/Engineering/UX
    • Be the trusted partner to Product and Engineering team to help them drive product strategy and product decisions using data-driven insights.
    • Create and execute analytics frameworks to to dissect abstract business, product, growth and retention problems.
    • Obsess about data accuracy, working with the tech team to ensure all events are mapped right and accurate data is flowing into reports and dashboards as this would be the basis for you to build your recommendations
    • Identifying data inconsistencies, resolving issues, and ensuring the integrity of our data

    What you will need to know to be successful in this role

    • Hands-on product instrumentation i.e. mapping the right events, clicks, and page loads so that correct data flows in the system
      • Preferable if you also obsess about naming the events in the right order so that there is no confusion while looking at or building reports
      • Hands-on setting up CDPs like Segment (our primary CDP) and verifying data flows for integrity
    • Hands-on Mixpanel to create reports, funnels, cohorts, and whatnot… as this is our core product analytics tool
    • Hands-on Metabase as sometimes all events are not present in Mixpanel
    • Hands-on setting up dashboards on Power BI

    What we are looking for

    If you are like what you have read up till now and –

    • Have 4+ years of product analytics experience in a SAAS company or a social pr Ed Tech company
    • You like to lead with a actionable insights, that is grounded in analytics
    • Have excellent project management and collaboration skills
    • And are an unstoppable self-starter with a relentless drive to improve
    • Experience of working for a US based startup would be an added bonus
