Job Location: Atlanta, GA

Purpose

This position is responsible for developing and supporting capabilities for Customer Order Management and Supply-Chain management related applications. This position also includes understanding the needs of business stakeholders, IT products and translating those needs into enterprise data pipelines, data objects with ETL techniques and build operational and analytical reporting.


Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education based on one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)

  • 2-5 years of development & implementation experience in reporting, data analytics and/or ETL processes

  • Intermediate to Advanced experience in at least one of DB platforms (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL) and hands-on experience writing complex SQL and PL/SQL

  • Experience in reporting tools such as Cognos and/or PowerBi or similar tools.

  • Intermediate experience in ETL tools (Talend, SSIS, Informatica)

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket

  • Experience writing Stored Procedure and routines

  • Experience in Big Data Platforms (Data Bricks, HBase, Spark) is a plus

  • Hands on experience using cloud computing to build analytics applications in Azure

  • Hands on experience in utilizing ETL tools to integrate/embed Java Rest APIs is a plus

  • Knowledge in any Manhattan Associates software products (particularly their Cloud products) or knowledge of similar supply chain software products from other software vendors from a data standpoint is an added advantage

  • Demonstrate proficiency with one or more technology environments and the ability to readily learn and apply new and emerging concepts

  • Knowledge in ongoing business intelligence trends

  • Ability to grasp and learn new tools and technologies as needed to complete job tasks

  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven business, infrastructure and support problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Essential Functions

  • Help in replication of data from Manhattan Associates cloud software products hosted on Google Cloud Platform to Floor and Decor’s Azure platform.

  • Help build a foundation for Data platform using ETL or similar techniques for Supply Chain & Customer Order Management IT systems and perform analytical & operational reporting.

  • Create data ingestion pipeline and processes based on defined requirements

  • Collaborate with multiple IT product teams within Supply Chain and Customer Order Management teams to gather the reporting & data requirements

  • Work with IT teams, IT vendors to design, development, unit testing, of data objects / data models, data pipelines and reports.

  • Build reports based on Supply Chain & Customer Order Management datapoints using Power BI and/or Cognos or similar tools in the market

  • Ad-hoc data access and analysis to support business & IT stakeholders

  • Development and publication of relevant standard operating procedures and technical documentation


Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)

  • Occasional travel may be required including air and car travel

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

  • Hybrid work model is preferred (Remote most of the time and available at work for meetings and design discussions)


Physical/Sensory Requirements

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 – 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.


Store Support Center Associates

Provide leadership and support training on all Safety programs, processes and procedures, ensuring that every associate is properly trained for their position.

Follow established Safety procedures in all aspects of work assignments applicable to the position. This includes participating in all Safety related training and acquiring certifications. Each associate is responsible for Safety at the Store Support Center and when visiting other company work locations. All Safety concerns must be brought to the attention of the management of a location and/or the Store Support Center Safety Department immediately.
