A day in the life of the Technical HRIS Business Analyst is never the same but, in this role, you will be a key member of the HR team and the subject matter expert for HR systems and tools. Responsible to lead and/or participate in the implementation, support, and maintenance of the Human Resources information systems. Ensure data integrity and effective HR system utilization, and focus on data analysis, system administration, process improvement and data insights to meet the company’s organizational and operational business needs. Serve as a technical lead and point-of-contact and provide project management regarding system upgrades, patches, testing and other projects as assigned. Partner with internal HR team to analyze work process design and flow, and continuously improve our technology capabilities associated with HR systems. Collaborate with the HR Leadership Team to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. Overall, this role is the enabling business partner to the organization to transform our HR systems to create a better tomorrow for our employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Human Resources systems including but not limited to the core HRIS (SuccessFactors), Applicant Tracking (iCIMS), Learning (Litmos), and Payroll (SuccessFactors)
  • Manage the integrations between the Payroll and Benefit systems/vendors.
  • Act as the technical point of contact to identify, troubleshoot and resolve HRIS system and reporting issues, research processing issues, unexpected data results, process flow issues, etc.
  • Consult with cross-functional departments (i.e., HR, Payroll, IT, etc.) to recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business requirements and increase automation.
  • Provide production support, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws, and performing scheduled activities.
  • Maintain HRIS role based user security, HRIS system tables, and data integrity within the system(s); follow up to ensure timely research and resolution of any data updates necessary or to address issues that may arise.
  • Perform system maintenance, including review, testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches; collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application upgrades, enhancements, and/or fixes.
  • Manage projects/process improvement; build project plans and maintain project timeline; apply change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools; assist in development of standard reports and dashboards for ongoing organizational needs such as legal and audit compliance reporting.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies; continuously increases HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge and compliance; participate in user group meetings/conferences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job.
  • 5+ years progressive HRIS experience required.
  • Global system application experience; knowledge of SuccessFactors, iCIMS, and Litmos preferred.
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
  • Critical Thinking – ability to review trends and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings; solid understanding and application of data analytic concepts and problem solving.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization.
  • Strong customer focus to partner with internal HR and business clients in order to resolve issues and anticipate business needs. Consultative skills to provide customers with necessary information resulting in improved user experience.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
