Job Location: Washington, DC

Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC, an award-winning federal government contractor, is seeking multiple exceptional Business Analysts to join our rapidly growing team. The Senior Business Analysts’ primary responsibility will be to gather, analyze, evaluate, document, validate, and refine the needs of all business stakeholders and effectively communicate requirements to the software development team, applying Agile principles and practices throughout the project duration. The ideal candidate will be experienced in interacting with product owners to gather requirements and will be an excellent communicator who can simplify complexity and bring teams together around ideas. A Business Analyst at Harmonia must have a strong customer focus and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Job Functions, Skills and Abilities:

  • Gather, analyze, evaluate, document, and refine requirements for software systems
  • Communicate effectively with business, demonstrate an understanding of their priorities and processes, and lead scaled agile planning for the team
  • Support team in design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications
  • Persist in solving complex business and technical challenges; troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with team members; serve as Scrum Master and support team in meeting commitments
  • Document business process flows, critical business information, and reports
  • Achieve quality measures and metrics through agile processes and practices
  • Coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities; contribute to team meetings; support troubleshooting efforts across multiple environments and operating platforms
  • Grow the team’s knowledge base by contributing to the team wikis
  • Understanding of change control processes
  • Business and technical requirements analysis
  • Ability to develop stories in JIRA, to work with Developers for time estimation for work.
  • Ability to Manage the Kanban boards and run DSU’s and Grooming Sessions
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively with large remote team
  • Excellent technical writing/documentation skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Must be a self-starter, self-learner, and take leadership of responsibilities
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Mandatory Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience working on agile software development projects
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Public Trust clearance
  • Ability to travel 1-4 times a year
