Job Location: Gurgaon
Opportunity for Finance executive with experience in project management, to join our Global Finance Services team. In this role you’ll have opportunities to apply financial accounting and reporting experience to your initiative as you’ll play a pivotal role to support our finance team with transformation initiatives.
To be successful in this role you will have a degree qualification in Accounting, preferably CA/CPA/ MBA (Finance) with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience.
Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is essential, with a background in Financial accounting, reporting, ledger, consolidation and financial instruments.Project management experience in transformation initiatives which includes analysis, solutioning, requirement gathering, implementation, problem solving skills, investigate issues and carry out root cause analysis.
You’ll have strong communication skills as the role will involve interaction at various levels and engaging senior stakeholders. You’ll have the ability and self-confidence to work independently and you’ll also bring strong MS Office skills; particularly Excel.Knowledge and certification on Power BI, Alteryx, DataIKU, VBA (Macro building) will be an added advantage.
To deliver, you will be engaged in activities like understanding problem statements related to financial accounting and reporting, Root cause analysis of the issues – Drilling through General ledger reports and transactions, Analysing source system bookings and flow through sub-ledgers, Requirement Gatherings relating to recurring issues, Translate business needs into Detailed requirements, Documentation of requirements and business needs, Discuss solutions per process owner requirements, Support implementation of solutions, Identify opportunities for process improvement, Design solutions/process improvements per enabling technology tools – Alteryx, PowerBI, VBA Macros, Responsible for the data validation process including management of change requests and deliver on ad-hoc requirements to key stakeholders.
