What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who has worked on OTT/VOD streaming platform projects, with a particular emphasis on Roku, including prior experience in Roku Dev. or UX Design, to join the Ovyo team immediately. The successful Business Analyst, Roku will work on exciting projects for our global video clients and form an integral part of the growth of our company. This is an excellent opportunity that will give you the chance to work on the future of the video industry. You will be involved in working with our customers who operate streaming services enabled on the Roku platform.
Job Responsibilities
- Delivering business and product analysis on, for example, Features, product documentation, User Stories, Use Cases, as well as business cases, business processes, customer and user journey models, data analysis & modelling, operational readiness, high level system and solutions documentation.
- Creating user stories detailing the business rules and defining acceptance criteria e.g., in the gherkin format (given, when, then)
- Stakeholder management (Business and Technology), third party vendor/supplier management
- Collaborating with business product owner and product stakeholders & designers
- Assess UX design against the ability of the Roku platform and support new design initiatives and improvements and/or suggest alternatives in areas where UX feature cannot be supported as designed
- API implementation within user stories
- Sourcing and collation information for required stakeholders on the roadmap
Experience required
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within OTT/VOD streaming platform environments
- Deep expertise in and knowledge of Roku platform, certification requirements and cutting-edge features (inc. monetization techniques i.e., Ads, Subscription tiers etc.)
- Experience in Roku Development/UX Design
- Expertise in Agile and/or other project management methodologies
- Demonstrable gravitas in communication, collaboration and management of senior business and product stakeholders
- Experience integrating with third party libraries like Analytics, Advertising etc.
- Experience user testing of content workflows cross platform (including Roku)
- Proven expertise in requirement gathering from multiple stakeholders and segmenting tasks into manageable user stories
