How will you make an impact?

As a Sales Operations Analyst II, as a member of the IES Pricing team and will provide accurate, timely and relevant analysis, and managing the service contract quoting process. Additionally, the candidate will play an integral role in the process improvement initiatives and standardization within the IES business.


What will you do?

  • Review service requests for accuracy and generate cost summaries using established standard pricing database or customer price lists.
  • Request vendor service contract quotes; monitor for timely response; and incorporate quote information into standard pricing database.
  • Incorporate account analysis, customer price list and standard pricing database inputs into rollover pricing templates.
  • Develop standard pricing, pricing resources and customer price lists to support service requests and cost summaries.
  • Assist with annual pricing process
  • Analyze vendor service contract quotes for accuracy and consistency; measure and report vendor quote response times; and incorporate quote information into standard pricing database.
  • Support and assist to maintain account analysis, customer price list and standard pricing database inputs used to build rollover pricing templates.
  • Learn basics of preparing Financial Models
  • Support other projects and initiatives as needed
  • Process ad hoc analysis as needed.


How will you get here?


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field required

Experience

Minimum 5+ years experience in Operations and/or Finance


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to optimally use Microsoft Excel, business database applications, and to document business processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel including Pivot tables, and key financial formulas
  • Ability to work in large sets of data, find common keys and join data together from multiple systems
  • Demonstrated ability to provide timely and accurate pricing outputs in fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated when working independently
  • Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement processes
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business and industry knowledge as well as the ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, include external and internal information, draw conclusions from ambiguous data, and optimally benchmark results against appropriate baselines
  • Strong written communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills, are required
  • Proven track record to build interpersonal relationships with customers, peers and operating partners
  • Manage multiple assignments, has good judgment, and prioritizes projects and time effectively
