Our client is looking for a Consumer Insights Analyst for a full-time permanent role. This is a great opportunity to work for a non-profit organization that offers amazing benefits (i.e. employer-paid medical, dental, etc. plus retirement contributions).
This is a new role where you will help to elevate the use of data to put the voice of customers/consumers first in all marketing and sales initiatives.
To be qualified for this role you must have experience with; survey best practices and analysis, structuring research initiatives, synthesizing data to provide insights and actionable recommendations, and finally, you must be willing to go into the office once a week (MN headquarters). Local candidates only, please!
Overview of Responsibilities
This role will oversee, design, and execute market research projects from start to finish, including defining the research objective, the development of research design, data analysis and interpretation, and report writing/presentation. Duties include:
- Conduct market and customer research focused on growth and retention including surveys, NPS (Net Promoter Score), and various other internal data
- Collaborate with key internal departments to provide information and expertise on the development and implementation of research projects and online survey programming
- Track NPS (Net Promoter Score) and partner with the analytics team to conduct content analysis for all open-ended survey responses
- Compile data related to market conditions, trends, competitors, and customer groups
- Collaborate and communicate with IT and Finance teams to understand, analyze, and leverage data within the database
- Analyze and translate data so it tells the story of the customers’ experience, expectations, wants, needs, and provide insights and actionable recommendations
Qualifications/Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Agile marketing certification is preferred but not required
- Hands-on experience in primary market research, with a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and techniques including surveys
- Experience using Excel or other software for data analysis
- Background in health care, retirement, or other benefits industry preferred but, not required
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to synthesize research findings into succinct, insights-driven reports
- Ability to present complex information in a clear and insightful manner
- Survey management tool experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proven project management skills
Note: This will require one day in the office – the client is located in a Minneapolis MN suburb. Again, local candidates are required.
