Job Description

• We are looking for a ML Engineer who has deep interest in theoretical and applied machine learning and loves working in a fast-paced environment
• He/She should have 5-7 years of work experience(in Java) and preferably 2-3 + years in forecasting space and have solved real-world problems
• Candidates with experience in solving demand forecasting, resource forecasting, price forecasting using econometrics models as well as ML models will be given preference
• The role would be a client facing, hence good communication skills are a must
• One should have an unique ability to communicate complex models and analysis in a clear and precise manner
• One would be responsible for Comprehending business problem properly – what to predict, how to build Dictionary, what value addition he/she is bringing to the client etc
• Understanding and analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets and build feature matrix relevant for business Understanding the math behind algorithms and is able to choose one over another
• Have worked on time-series forecasting and likewise understands new-edge ML approaches like stacking, ensemble and has ability to apply them rightly to increase accuracy
• Should have prior experience training ML concepts and building a team of minimum 3 members

Desired Technical Requirements:

• Should have hands-on experience on Java and familiarity with Python
• Should familiar with SQL and other data manipulation tools and packages
• Should have solved various Kaggle problems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent quantitative skills and experience in statistics and machine learning
• Interest in learning and applying the learnings to achieve the objectives
• Interest in experimentation and data-driven improvisation
• Have worked on handling Big-Data
• Hands-on knowledge of deep learning
• Hands-on experience on ML and deep learning with Java

Any of the following qualifications are preferred:

• Knowledge of SQL/Visualization tools/Python: Pandas, Scipy suite
• Knowledge of Deep learning tools: Tensorflow/Keras/PyTorch/Caffe/Theano/Mxnet etc. Completion of online courses in Data Science/ML domain
