The Internal Audit Department provides the Board of Directors, senior management and regulators with an independent assessment of JPMorgan Chase’s (‘JPMC’) control environment. Description

The Corporate Functions Audit Team is responsible for assessing the adequacy of the control environments across firm-wide Corporate Functions including KYC, Risk, AML, Finance, HR, Operations and others. The Enterprise Technology is responsible for assessing the adequacy of the control environments Cyber, Technology Controls and Infrastructure. This is achieved through a program of audit coverage, which is performed and managed by a global team of Corporate Functions auditors.

This role is for an experienced audit data analytics professional to join the team. This position will be based in Jersey City New Jersey or Plano Texas. As an Analytics Solutions Associate your role is focused on developing and delivering data analytics and helping to drive the data analytics agenda across the Corporate Functions Audit team, foster constant learning of new tools and techniques, and continually influence the maturation of the DA program.

Job Responsibilities

  • Propose, build and execute data analytics solutions in support of the full Audit life-cycle objectives using tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, QlikView, TOAD, Hadoop, Business Objects, and others.
  • Work closely with, and manage stakeholder relationships to help determine and drive the analytics audit plan.
  • Help to develop repeatable analytics & tools geared toward efficiency and Auditor ‘self-service’ capabilities.
  • Design and develop analytics solutions to support non-cycle based audit activities, including Continuous Auditing & Monitoring.
  • Understand key Data Management concepts and apply Analytics to support audit testing
  • Manage multiple analytics deliverables according to timelines and budget.
  • Work closely with Global Technology to identify, access and source key data elements to support the Audit plan.
  • Stay abreast of new tools and technologies to assist the team in creating the most efficient and effective data solutions.
  • Regularly provide views and perspectives on data analytics applicability across various forums and audiences.
  • Oversee, and manage deliverables of junior staff as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Technology (MIS, Comp Science), Business, or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of related Audit and Data Analytics experience.
  • Experience working with large complex data sets, drawing conclusions and reporting findings
  • Proven and recent track record of developing and delivering sustainable analytical solutions, should be prepared to describe such use cases
  • Detailed knowledge of technology infrastructure and databases, and associated risk and controls.
  • Must have general knowledge of core corporate finance functions including AML, KYC, Finance, CCAR, CECL, is (credit, market, Ops) and enterprise technology areas included, infrastructure, Cloud and Cyber
  • Basic knowledge of Data Management principles
  • Knowledge of relevant US based regulations is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and partnership skills
  • Ability to critically think and problem-solve successfully
  • Ability to oversee, and deliver on several tasks concurrently

The APAC Commercial Banking Team is responsible for the overall relationship management and banking & transaction services requirements of the APAC subsidiaries of our US clients. Job responsibilities:

Support the business to manage and develop a diverse and growing portfolio of clients, with responsibilities including (but not limited to):

  • Track transaction pipeline and reporting, Create implementation requests & monitor progress.
  • Profile companies through financial and business analysis to identify opportunities relevant to our international capabilities
  • Generate pitch books and other marketing materials
  • Prepare presentations for management, client meetings and internal business reviews
  • Support bankers to capture and track the client calling efforts/ reports
  • Establish and maintain local contacts with Commercial Banking clients, working closely with the relationship managers to help support and coordinate client activities. Work with US based International team and Coverage Bankers to identify opportunities and increase wallet share of existing clients. Typical client requirements will focus on banking and transaction services, including cash management, liquidity and cross currency products & services
  • Support in sizing up market opportunity/ wallet/ new clients & overall pipeline development / prospecting in consultation with the relationship managers
  • The incumbent will manage the sales pipeline, book accurate and timely client call memos, and be responsible for preparation of proposals and presentations for existing and prospective clients, MIS, analysis, client and prospect lists, etc.
  • Support the implementation of client solutions, attend to client service requests, annual reviews of facilities, credit and portfolio statistical reporting, ad hoc reporting. and keep abreast of new product and relevant technology
  • Work with HQ team, CB regional and global client coverage and deal teams, Client Service, Operations, Product, and Legal to optimize product and service delivery to clients
  • Work on local and regional projects from time to time
  • Work closely with the relationship manager and teams on ground to help coordinate and support the servicing needs as well as sales requirements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 3 years industry experience within the institutional or corporate sectors, including a position in an analyst type role. Experience in client relationship management within these sectors would be a key advantage.
  • A solid understanding of the Indian financial services markets, corporate banking products, debt products, cash management, trade finance, foreign exchange .
  • Strong analytics, computer, power point/ pitchpro/ excel skills.
  • Proven ability to work professionally and effectively across diverse product and service capabilities, teamwork
  • Excellence in oral and written communication with proven strength for personal engagement
  • Self-starting with clear results orientation and a capacity to operate independently, appropriately balancing short, medium and long term objectives
  • Flexibility to co-ordinate and manage multiple transactions and processes contemporaneously ensuring delivery against deadlines, client expectations and business priorities.
  • Ability to work consistently across different time zones and geographies, dealing with numerous stakeholders.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, self starter and team orientated. Attitude to learn & develop skills is critical.

  • CFA or CA is a strong advantage

What this job involves?

Duties & responsibilities

Preparing greenfield (land development) and operational assets financial modelling across asset classes (residential, office, retail, alternatives such as student housing, hospitals etc.)

Preparing reports, presentations, information memorandums, pitch books, in collaboration with the team for clients and internal use.
